Spectrum Book Updated Quotes:
Although Sebastian was really quite strange, strangely enough he was at the very least, quite comical with that strangeness and even what one might describe as fairly pleasant and so it wasn't difficult for Leah to feel totally at ease with his presence as she began to appreciate his quirky but friendly, warm approach. ~ Jill Thrussell
Some very loud creaks emanated from the large black door as it moved as it gave way to the request from another presence to open and fully cooperated and to Leah in some strange way, the creaks almost sounded as if the door itself had actually spoken and politely invited her to step inside the interior of the magnificent, regal looking, black structure. ~ Jill Thrussell
"I do enjoy being called Princess Leah though, so I'd definitely invite Sebastian round for dinner and introduce him to Zidane." Leah admitted to herself. "Then I'd be like, you see Zidane I'm a Princess and you didn't even know, you're not very observant are you?" ~ Jill Thrussell
In terms of the actual noise itself, Leah noticed that the sound of the horn had not been very musically appealing, or even very pleasant but it was definitely stark and bold and it seemed to be an intentional attempt to alert the castle's occupants to the activities that were due to occur shortly. ~ Jill Thrussell
"Such a beautiful bed, so comfortable and so absolutely splendid." Leah admitted to herself as she gave the lavish bed one final glance and look of appreciation. "I'd love to take you home with me bed, are you committed to this bedroom, or are you open to other opportunities and willing to travel? I don't really like to cheat on my own bed but for you, I would definitely be unfaithful and I'd even initiate an actual divorce." ~ Jill Thrussell
No answers to Leah's question however, seemed to be forthcoming as she continued to visually scan the interior of the wardrobe and none of the outfits it appeared, wanted to contribute to her discussion because no item of clothing eagerly leapt out at her, volunteered to be worn or even wished to advise her, since each one just hung down limp, still and with an attitude of total indifference from the hangers that they silently clung to. ~ Jill Thrussell
Once upon a romantic time, Leah had made so much effort for Zidane on so many occasions, in order to keep the sparks of love, romance and passion ignited, alive and rekindled between them both but in recent times, due to Leah's additional hours inside the basement as she'd worked on Spectrum, it was almost as if those romantic sparks inside of her had dimmed, or as if those sparks had just taken a vacation from their relationship and as yet, had not returned. ~ Jill Thrussell
"I'd be more of a danger to the hunt party than an actual help and probably, an absolute hindrance." He acknowledged. ~ Jill Thrussell
Just a few seconds later as Lancelot stepped off the other end of the moat bridge, the hunt leader began to lead the riders out across the meadow that lay towards Leah's right hand side which clearly indicated to Leah that the hunt party was ready to proceed, regardless of her doubts, despite her nerves and irrespective of her levels of competence. ~ Jill Thrussell
From what Leah could already clearly see, the woods would not be as friendly as the meadows had been due to the brown wooden claws that protruded from each tree that were intertwined quite tightly and gripped onto one another in places as if they were close friends and the unpredictable nature of those brown tree arms and wooden stick fingers would at times, potentially obstruct each rider's passage. ~ Jill Thrussell
The dark brown sacks were now stained a deep, crimson red from the blood of the dead animals that they contained and as the horses moved, blood from the carcasses continued to seep out and decorate the exterior of each sack as the animals even upon their death, silently decorated their graves with the liquid remnants of their slaughter. ~ Jill Thrussell
For Leah, her experiences with Spectrum now felt somehow, extremely powerful as although Lancelot had been the first such magical creature that she'd given an existence to that she had seen with her own eyes and been in close proximity to, she definitely knew, Lancelot would not be the last. ~ Jill Thrussell
The two began to saunter back across the courtyard towards the entrance of the castle as Leah thoughtfully pondered over which outfit from the vast range on offer she should select for the Joyful Dance and the Feast of Plenty as those activities were much more up her personal street and a house of familiarity that she felt far more comfortable to visit and step inside. ~ Jill Thrussell
Every sensation that Leah had felt that day had surprised her as her neural senses had been mimicked with total precision and absolute accuracy and although there still remained many unchartered, unexplored areas of scientific territory for human minds to venture through and much technological terrain for the human world to conquer, she fully appreciated that Spectrum would now be placed on the actual human map.. ~ Jill Thrussell
Now, a return to reality was overdue for Leah as Zidane, the very real man in her very real life had patiently waited for her return to his arms all evening and Leah's reality was definitely worth more and far more precious to her than any artificial royal title that Spectrum could ever offer her. ~ Jill Thrussell
