The Story

Three patient's lives are impacted in a very unusual manner when a Doctor discovers the cure for a common cold in the form of a drug formulated upon some medical components that when combined replicate the feelings of Love as they start to participate in the 'Love Drug' medical trials.  Due to the highly complex nature of the treatments however, the Doctor rapidly uncovers some unforeseen side effects that can lead to some very undesirable consequences like hallucinogenic manifestations and warped versions of reality and as his three patients lives are suddenly plunged into total chaos, the Doctor quickly discovers, some cures are never actually meant to be discovered at all.  Written by Jill Thrussell.

This story will be told from multiple perspectives and was written and developed from a piece written in the eighties called 'What is Love'.

Love Upgraded:

This project forms a part of an anthology collection called Love Upgraded which is a twelve part anthology collection that explores the possible impact that technology could have in the future upon love.  Each segment/independent film is approximately 80 minutes long and some will be considered for cinematic release as indie films.
