A female behavioural scientist and a male relationship psychologist are brought together to consult on a project for a gender research clinic run by Professor Lungard. The main objective of their research placement is to examine a group of couples to determine whether love can be gauged, compared and measured precisely and to establish whether there is a correlation between the depths of love and gender identities. During the performance of their research however, they suddenly discover a very romantic correlation of their own which may or not measure up when their newly discovered romantic interests are put to the test and they are given the choice at the end of the research project to notify the participants about their findings which as they already know, could result in the actual termination of several of the couple's long term relationships. A female behavioural scientist and a male sports specialist are assigned to a gender research team in order to explore the correlation between sports (esp. sports with round balls) and male testosterone but in doing so, they suddenly discover a romantic correlation of their own.
