Due to a terminal illness, a woman prepares for her final departure and agrees to undergo a process to upload her mind on her death bed into a robotic clone which will provide a shelter of solace and a shield of comfort for her family after her final departure. The main objectives of the robotic clone process being, to provide her family with a crutch of support, some practical assistance and some protection from any deep heartbreaking chasms of grief and sadness that they may subsequently face in an attempt to reduce the negative impact of her absence upon their hearts, minds and lives. However, some of her family members start to struggle with the robot's presence after she physical departure because the company that provided the robotic clone provisions haven't been totally honest and transparent about all the programmable elements of their robotic substitutes and their veil of secrecy laced with traces of mysterious occurrences and a series of negative eventualities is swiftly uncovered as the family that remain start to carry the full brunt of the technological luxuries that life it seems, can only afford to them with some very strange personal costs.
