Logline: A memory transplant advisor has to solve and resolve the puzzle of his client's traumatic past in order to improve and reshape her present and future but in doing so, he quickly uncovers a forgotten crime of heartbreak and treachery, unknown to the unsuspecting victim. Written by Jill Thrussell.
A memory therapy transplant center provides clients with memory replacement therapy to give them the power to overwrite and amend details from the past that they wish to change as it helps people to reshape their past, present and future by helping them both to remember and to forget. When a new female client suddenly arrives on the scene however, Celt a memory transplant advisor must piece together different fragments of forgotten from several individuals and collate their unique perspectives to solve the puzzle of Evangeline's traumatic past to establish exactly what haunts Evangeline, due to her recurring nightmares. The deeper exploration of Evangeline's mind and memory as Celt embarks upon his investigative work in order to improve her present and future, quickly uncovers a forgotten crime of treachery, heartbreak and murderous intent. Once Celt has unearthed the hidden pieces of the puzzle from Evangeline's past as he rapidly becomes fully immersed in the dark deeds of yesterday, he must then not only solve but also resolve the heartbreaking truths and treacherous problems with Evangeline, the unsuspecting victim.
Due to Celt's growing appreciation of Evangeline and the challenging journey she faces as Celt delves deeper into her memories and her emotional scars, he is suddenly presented with a very personal challenge that he cannot possibly ignore as he manages to uncover some absolutely horrifying truths and extremely startling revelations about Evangeline's situation. Much to Celt's absolute frustration however, the exploration of Evangeline's mind and the root of her traumatic experiences, suddenly places him in a very difficult predicament, instead of providing her with the much needed resolution that she actually seeks. An internal battle rapidly forms inside Celt as he starts to wrestle with a totally undeniable, extremely horrific actual reality that is actually unknown and the entanglement of his own very personal emotions that have now become rather attached to his new female client but he quickly realizes, his attempts to empower Evangeline to live a fuller life are obstructed not only by her traumatic past but also by her very real, extremely current, actual husband.
The recovery of Evangeline's memories, it rapidly transpires are just the beginning of Celt's dilemma and his mind rapidly becomes torn as he faithfully joins Evangeline in a fight that she does not yet even know, she actually has to face and fight. One small glimmer of hope however does actually remain as Celt starts to nurse Evangeline's heart and mind, the fragment of forgotten inside Evangeline's own mind which contains a hidden truth that could actually be used as a weapon to liberate them both but Evangeline is not even aware of its actual existence and that is another obstacle in itself. Despite the fact that Evangeline has already given her heart permanently to another man, Celt's feelings for Evangeline continue to grow until he can no longer just allow Evangeline to simply ignore, hide from or walk away from the truth as he seeks to protect the woman that has captured his heart, liberate her from a snare of deceit and make her a permanent fixture in his very own personal life and his actual future. Tomorrow, Emmet thoughtfully concluded as he placed another wooden log on top of the flames, the universe would give Evangeline another log of life with which to fuel the fire of daily living and another day to live, a day which would perhaps be warmed by the sun's presence as with each sunrise, the sun brought along with it a fresh ray of hope and invisibly nursed her internal wounds and pain. ~ Jill Thrussell.
"Let's just call it, very essential academic experimentation. I'll let you know in six months time if my hypothesis stands true." Donna joked as she laughed. ~ Jill Thrussell.
"Your memory of your Mum is always with you every single day Evangeline because she lives inside of you." Donna immediately reassured her. "She lives in your mind, inside your heart and within your thoughts and no holiday can change that or how much you loved her." ~ Jill Thrussell.
The change that Emmet had suggested, deep down inside he knew, was absolutely necessary as he had to encourage Evangeline to live her life and embrace tomorrow, instead of seeking solace and comfort in the arms of a very sorrow filled yesterday. ~ Jill Thrussell.
"This isn't an actual dress Evangeline, you need to clothe your mind in confidence and I'm going to teach you exactly how to do that." Donna explained as she giggled. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Essentially, the log cabin was a second home that the family could visit at any time and do with as they wished but a home that was now missing the third person that had once adorned its interior with laughter, love and delight. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Despite the battlefield of emotions inside Evangeline's mind, due to the fact that her father would probably not approve of a relationship with a man like Brad, she couldn't help but feel attracted to him and Donna actively encouraged that appreciation and that admiration. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Every inch of Evangeline prepared to buckle up and jump on the plane of Brad's interest in her as one day as the two women stood outside their cardiac class and Brad passed them both in the corridor and then very unexpectedly, flashed an actual smile at Evangeline. ~ Jill Thrussell.

"Wow all that happened inside the laundry room." Evangeline replied. "A trip to the laundry room can certainly freshen up your love life and give your heart a sparkling shine. She teased. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Hopefully, Emmet contemplated as he began to stoke the fire that busy, bustling reality, would be enough to distract Evangeline from Eleanor's absence once more as then she would have to live life every day and face the world that they both lived in and that world certainly wasn't a world that concerned itself with the tears of yesterday. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Everything about Brad's appearance and physical structure oozed masculinity and he possessed a great deal of sex appeal as his slightly rugged looks and athletic build provided Evangeline's eyes with a treat every time she saw him. ~ Jill Thrussell.
"Parents, they're such a difficult bunch really." Donna joked as she picked up her laundry basket. "So hard to please but so very easy to annoy." ~ Jill Thrussell.

Quite sadly, the garden of romance inside Evangeline's heart so far had only managed to yield some very short, stubby shrubs and although she'd pulled out a few tangled, unwanted weeds, over the years no tree or bush of love had been cultivated that had managed to grow and fully blossom. ~ Jill Thrussell.
The differences between the two women drew them much closer to each other throughout Evangeline's third year of study as Evangeline admired Donna's ability to say exactly what was on her mind, whenever it actually suited her. No fear seemed to exist on Donna's part and unlike Evangeline, who was afraid at times to say how she really felt, just in case she offended anyone, Donna was far more verbally adventurous. ~ Jill Thrussell.
"We can choose our friends, we can choose our lovers and we can choose which flights we take in life." Emmet advised. "And I don't want you to end up in the Bermuda Triangle just because you got on the wrong flight of friendship, or love with the wrong companion. There's always an escape hatch on every plane and sometimes, the wisest thing to do is jump and if you do, I'll catch you I promise." ~ Jill Thrussell.
"I'll be your parachute." Emmet immediately reassured her. ~ Jill Thrussell.
The water from Lake Winthorpe that the cabin sat beside gently lapped against the shore and as each ripple seemed to politely greet the ground that it met every day; it almost felt to Evangeline as if the two were engaged in a very intense, silent discussion. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Unlike the knobbly exterior of the log cabin, the front door was actually quite different and looked far stronger and it was almost as if the very sturdy slab of wood fully understood its role as it silently guarded the entrance to the less rigid structure that surrounded it. ~ Jill Thrussell.
At times, the concrete mass that filled the city could become ugly and tiresome but this natural hideaway was situated a million miles away from that very plain grey rendition of everyday living and that lifted Evangeline's spirits as she rejoiced in her beautiful surroundings. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Ultimately death, Evangeline had learnt, always had more than one victim, the victim's life death took and the lives of the loved ones that were left behind to grieve over their loss. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Everything that surrounded the two, the lake, the log cabin, the clump of trees and even the woods nearby seemed to willingly wait patiently for the night to settle in and wrap its arms around them as the sun silently disappeared with no goodbyes and no promise of an actual return. ~ Jill Thrussell.
On Evangeline's tenth birthday, when her mother had left the face of the Earth, she'd had to swallow a bitter pill of emotional destitution that had broken her heart and crushed her world and despite it being three years, since that horrific day that bitter pill seemed no easier to swallow, or to digest every single day. ~ Jill Thrussell.
The fragile strands inside your heart could be torn apart and ripped to shreds by an earthquake of tragedy with no mercy at all in a second and at times, life gave back absolutely nothing but emptiness, coldness and total misery. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Deep down inside Emmet's gut, his stomach silently turned over as he quietly digested Evangeline's request which was truly reasonable but also truly horrifying. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Eventually, Emmet knew deep down inside, he'd have to surrender to Evangeline's request but he silently hoped as each day went by that perhaps she'd change her mind and then he wouldn't actually have to. ~ Jill Thrussell.
Fear had become Emmet's prison much like blame was Frank's prison and somehow, Emmet had to ensure that he did not allow his fear to become Evangeline's prison too as then not only would she have been robbed of a mother but also of her own life. ~ Jill Thrussell.
The career that you've chosen to pursue won't involve a sprint; it's a rather long distance run, so you'll need your shoes of determination and your suit of dedication, just to reach the finishing line." Emmet advised. "You'll have to be extremely committed and you'll have to work very hard as not everyone that runs that race and embarks upon that professional journey makes it to the end." ~ Jill Thrussell.
Nothing but silence filled her father's study as Evangeline gazed into his eyes in an almost pleading fashion as she begged him silently for permission to attend the course she'd so carefully chosen. ~ Jill Thrussell.

"Sometimes the search for truth can lead to justice but sometimes, it only leads to more injustice and even greater pain.“ Celt explained. ~ Jill Thrussell
We'd all walked away from the battle of life with wounds that would be engraved on our hearts & minds forever but as we'd done so, hope had gently taken our hands & promised us a better, happier future & one that would perhaps one day, heal our scars. ~ Jill Thrussell
“You were always part of my misery, you were never part of my joy.“ ~ Jill Thrussell
“We call these glitches in people's memories, Fragments of Forgotten.“ Celt explained. “They represent a brief moment in time that remains hidden & invisible to our own minds, an anomaly, a recollection that perhaps fear has stolen from our thoughts.“ Jill Thrussell
“We had all walked away from the past with scars from the injustices that had occurred and those scars we could carry with us as a permanent reminder of past injustices we could not accept and the horrific truths we could not live with.“ ~ Jill Thrussell

"The ultimate victim of injustice is always love Evangeline, one way or another." Celt replied. ~ Jill Thrussell
"It's traumatic Celt to know that you have to basically stick ten years of your life in a bin. Because of some abusive person who brought nothing to your life but horror. It's hard to live with that truth.” Evangeline replied.
He can change how it happened. He can change who was there. But he can't change the consequences. ~ Jill Thrussell
Evangeline looked at Celt nervously as she approached him. "Which are the most common memories you're requested to replace?" ~ Jill Thrussell
“Celt, choice is at times a luxury that not everyone can afford. Life and circumstances often dictate the richness or the poverty of our available options.“ Evangeline explained. ~ Jill Thrussell
Celt smiled as he paused. "Virginal memories. It's a very popular request. So many people want to change how they lost their virginity." He replied as he smiled at her curiosity. ~ Jill Thrussell
Evangeline realised that her father, ever since the accident had ignored Brad's absence completely and never even so much as questioned it as if Brad's presence was non-sequitor and as if he was a redundant entity that was surplus to requirements and absolutely unnecessary and Brad seemed to avoid him like the plague. ~ Jill Thrussell
"The memory mapping system is an intrinsic part of the Memorized system and once your memories are uploaded into it and mapped accordingly, your memory therapy sessions can begin. You only have one Memory Evangeline and if its corrupted by fragmented recollections, we try to restore those and eliminate any horrors they contain." Celt explained. ~ Jill Thrussell
Celt knew he couldn't possibly undo the damage that Brad had caused to Evangeline's life but he hoped in some small way that he could soothe the scars and reduce the burdens she had to carry which had been inflicted upon her life, due to Brad's horrific abuse. ~ Jill Thrussell
“I have some great news Celt. I've accepted an offer from an investor to fund an expansion of my work. We'll now be moving into the arena of memory synchronisation, multiple transplants and some kind of memory trading and I want you to utilize your knowledge to head the new division." Professor Hume explained. "Consider it a promotion with a very lucrative pay rise.” ~ Jill Thrussell
Deep within, Celt succumbed to the obvious reality he could no longer ignore as his feelings twirled inside him like a whirlpool, Evangeline was not just a client anymore, there was a prodding within him like a hot iron that urged him to commit to her as a man and he longed to become a permanent fixture in her life and heart, instead of just a tourist on a brief vacation that would end all too abruptly, once their sessions and her memory therapy ended. ~ Jill Thrussell
Doubts surrounding his intentions towards Evangeline did not exist in Celt's mind as he knew his were as pure as the snowflakes that drifted down towards the ground to rest in the midst of winter. ~ Jill Thrussell
Intentions no matter how sincere and honest however, were like an invisible robe that no third party could see, feel, seek comfort or place trust in, they simply adorned the bearer and provided them with warmth, whilst the potential receiver simply waited in the cold, empty passageways of hope until the promises and aspirations they created materialised into something of substance, actually transpired or were eventually abandoned through frustration and despair. ~ Jill Thrussell
The day prompted Celt to reflect as he acknowledged the frustrating reality, he had only just entered Evangeline's life a few months beforehand and although they'd ventured across some very emotional, murky terrain and scaled some cliffs in the midst of the mountains of trauma from her past, which he guided her through, there were still some more truths to face and pains to bear and there was actually no reason Evangeline should trust him anymore than she trusted Brad. ~ Jill Thrussell
Her mind meandered into the jungle like chaos of fear as Evangeline explored the reality that one day perhaps she may be presented with undeniable evidence that she could not refute, doubt or reject about Brad's infidelity and on that day she would have to stand up and leave Brad forever. ~ Jill Thrussell
Evangeline trembled as she confronted her thoughts, her biggest fear was that one day she would actually have to divorce Brad as that would mean having to be strong and independent enough to face the world alone and provide for herself and she suddenly realised, she'd become utterly complacent in the dictatorship of matrimony as she'd wallowed in the vomit of subservience each day and unequivocally accepted it. ~ Jill Thrussell
