Summary: Two bright teens go to stay with their eccentric, accident-prone grandfather who is a retired professor that lives with his personal robot that he programmed and created, when their parents go on an exhibition trip to the Amazon Jungle but when their parents go missing and don't return from the trip, their stay is extended indefinitely. Due to their grandfather's chaotic, accident-prone nature and the robot that seems to mimic those characteristics, they suddenly find it their mission to ensure that everything around them and more specifically him, is Adult Friendly because he is virtually like an accident waiting to happen.
Chaos rapidly ensues due to their grandfather's lack of common sense and financial failings but fortunately, his adult son who is a successful entrepreneur, rapidly takes the two youngsters under his wing and then starts to teach them how to capitalize upon opportunities. Once assistance arrives upon the scene, the two youngsters then spend the rest of their summer in attempts to plug the financial shortfalls and gaps that failures in adulthood can bring, try to save up for a trip to see if they can retrieve their parents and also attempt to reprogamme their grandfather's robotic assistant to see if they can make the AI slightly more adult friendly.
