A psychological scientist conducts a research study to explore love with a group of volunteers to find out what exactly makes people fall in love and what shapes people's romantic relationships in terms of their behaviour towards their partners and their romantic choices (e.g. misconceptions, memories, romantic perceptions, ambitions, fear, past experiences, circumstances and attitudes towards risk.) In Ashlyn's quest to answer the deeper questions about love however, the female research scientist also attempts to see if she can get her own love life right which is currently, a complete and utter unromantic disaster. This series is an exploration of love and will delve into the hidden depths of passion, complex lenses of perception and explore romantic expectations. Each segment will include a different case study from one of the volunteers in the allocated group that the research scientist is working with in order to conduct her research. This will be an ongoing project as the research work develops in various ways but each season will contain eight different case studies. Written by Jill Thrussell.

Case Study (Memories) : Remember, Remember!
A forgetful man and a struggling woman find love an unforgettable way as they explore how current revelations can change a distorted memory from the past and how treason of the mind can actually occur when new information actually comes to light in the present which can then challenge and potentially reshape the future. Written by Jill Thrussell
This project will involve a series of flashbacks and dream sequences and different perspectives will also be explored as the past and memories are viewed from not only different eyes but also various angles

A man who is infertile decides to stand in the busiest part of the city and advertise with a sandwich board for a sperm donor as his wife refuses to accept a sperm donation from a sperm bank but his plan rapidly backfires when the man who volunteers to become a donor, actually temporarily moves into his home and then starts to upstage him in front of his wife. When Rodney frustratingly notices that the potential biological father to his future offspring could be a better man than him in his wife's sight, a no holds barred rivalry rapidly ensues as his wife starts to appreciate the charming stranger that Rodney himself has invited into their home and into their lives. More information about this project: most of the case study segments have been developed from other pieces of work like Mindplant/Memorized which formed the basis for Remember, Remember as these projects related the redefinition of memories based on new information that comes to light. The exact quote the first short film/segment has been developed from, refers to an equipment case that Connie held in her hand which changed how she perceived memories that were once beautiful and were now deemed impure as history was rewritten before her very eyes. This is also a major theme in the film Memorized where history is changed and redefined based on more accurate information being provided to a distorted memory. An area of exploration in this film/segment will be the inspection of the kind of treason that can occur regarding access to information that obscures judgement by the mind and understanding of past events. Regarding the short film/segment The Eyes/Lenses of Love & Hate: Friends usually tended to view each other through a lens that was more favourable, due to the love they held inside themselves for each other and perhaps friends saw each other as more beautiful as they viewed each other through eyes of love, not eyes of unfamiliarity.
