Synopsis: When Thana reaches late adolescence and college age, she discovers that Death is her father and that her real mortal existence is mixed with supernatural elements when she is sent to the Supernatural Academy which is full of other mixed supernaturals/mortal hybrids (Superals/Supernatals/Morturals) like herself. However, whilst in attendance at the academy, Thana falls in love with the one thing that is deemed totally unacceptable to everyone around her, a full-blooded human mortal. Since the human being in question is not particularly acceptable in her father's sight either and Death usually terminates anyone that he dislikes especially those in his daughter's social circles, she then ends up having to try to hide their romantic involvement to protect him from her own father.
However, none of the other Superals are particularly helpful and deem Thana's human romantic choice as an inferior, substandard selection and so she has to embark on that tough voyage on her own. So, with very few allies, some very tough supernatural battles and some huge supernatural hurdles, Thana has to find a way to keep her human love interest alive long enough to allow him to earn and gain her protective father's approval, however, as Thana already knows, patience is definitely not one of Death's strong points.
