When Chante suffers bullying by several of her peers one day on her way home from school, to escape from their pursuit Chante stumbles into the Library of Magic and Mysteries to hide where she meets an interesting but unusual librarian called Lenora. Inside the old building however, she not only finds refuge but also some magical creatures that take her on an adventure to a magical place and land where she must assist them in a quest. Due to the acceptance that Chante discovers inside the Library of Magic and Mysteries, she then starts to visit it as often as she can to discover more about the mysteries it contains and the magical creatures that ask her to assist them upon each visit and as Chante embarks upon some more adventures with them, she also embarks upon a voyage of self-discovery as she starts to learn new skills, finds ways to question the world around her and develops practical approaches to resolve her own problems in the very real world.
