Summary: A female corporate consultant hits a crisis point in life and so when she is given a life investment book, she attempts to apply some corporate methodologies, business principles, commercial practices and advice from a variety of experts to her career, social life and love life in an attempt to find some absent happiness, secure personal life satisfaction and to improve the love returns to her heart. However, as Katrina rapidly discovers as she attempts to improve her life and embarks on various happiness and romance missions in search of the ideal career, great friendships and a permanent life partner, there are some huge flaws in her new corporate approach to life, love and happiness because professional, social and romantic successes or rejections are not always predictable and the probability of sincere commitments can be hard to gauge. Unfortunately, much to Katrina's frustration, she also quickly realizes that the costs of effort and missteps, the time spent on the abundance of awful unromantic life partner candidates, the pain of disappointment, the expenses of rejection, unromantic contingencies and romantic losses seem to be unrecoverable and that some of those fluctuations can be very painful because happiness doesn't seem have a money back guarantee, provides no refunds, offers no agreeable payment terms and that there appears to be no actual fixed, certain delivery date.
