Broken Parts: Amazing Asher & Robotic Robin

A young ten-year-old boy with Hamamy Syndrome finds himself down on his luck in life after he must move to a new area when his parents pass away and then starts to live with his reluctant uncle where he attends a new school and becomes the target of bullies.  A nearby ray of hopeful joy suddenly enters his life however, when he discovers an old derelict robotics factory, where he finds a robot that still seems to have a little life left in its circuits.  Due to Asher's curiosity and his situation, he starts to spend more time in the robotics factory and as Asher rebuilds the robot every day from a robotics book and some demonstrative lessons that he is given from a friendly, elderly neighbour who also tells him tales about Robin Hood as he embarks on a voyage of self-discovery in the pursuit of happiness, he decides to program his new robotic friend to be a vigilante robotic warrior to help him face the bullies.  During the process of Asher’s repairs to his new robotic friend however, as he rebuilds the robot until the robot is fully functioning somehow, the repairs help to heal some of the hurt and disappointments that he has faced in life at the hands of human beings where kindness has been in short supply and at times, run into a hurtful deficit which motivates him to team up with Robotic Robin to help others.  Written by Zaylee Knowles

The Story:

A young ten year old boy with Hamamy Syndrome (which results in physical deformities that affect his body and face) finds himself down on his luck in life after he has to move to a new area when his parents pass away and then starts to live with his reluctant uncle and attend a new school where he becomes the target of bullies but nearby, a little ray of hopeful joy suddenly enters his life when he discovers an old derelict robotics factory, where he finds a robot that still seems to have a little life in its circuits.  Due to Asher's curiosity and his situation, he starts to spend more time in the robotics factory and as Asher rebuilds the robot every day from a robotics book and some demonstrative lessons that he is given from a friendly, elderly neighbour, he decides to program his new robotic friend to be a vigilante robotic warrior and repairs the robot until the robot is back up and running and fully functioning.

Once the robot which Asher names Robot (Robotic) Robin based on some of the Robin Hood tales from the same friendly elderly neighbour is fully operational, the two then spend some joyful hours together in the derelict factory enacting some of their favorite adventure tales.  Some of the tales Asher tells Robot Robin revolve around Robin Hood and Robot Robin tells Asher some legendary tales from Robotoland which is where some of the robotic parts from his robotic frame it is said originally came from.  One day not long afterwards however, much to Asher's surprise when he visits the factory, he finds that Robin has started to build a band of young robotic merry males robots and a robotic merry female robot and so he quickly joins his robotic companion in the creation of robotic merry band.  The two decide to create a super hero robotic suit for Asher which when worn will offer him all kinds of robotic functionalities and special robotic super hero powers after which point, Asher, Robot (Robotic) Robin and the robotic band of merry robots embark upon a series of vigilante adventures as they attempt to heroically and robotically put right, correct and enact justice on some of the human wrongs that cross their paths and they do so, they also embark upon a search for Robotoland, the land that according to legends most robots originate from, be it one circuit or another.  Written by Zaylee Knowles
