Land of Legends: The Healing Tears of Ibong Adarna
The Story: when a young boy's mother falls ill (fever, loss of memory, losing sight and cannot stand or walk), he must venture into the Mountains and Mount Tabor to find and capture an Ibong Adarna who it is said have tears that heal but the mountains are treacherous to those who do not know them well and he accidentally steps on the home of a Nuno sa Punso which puts his life in jeopardy. Fortunately, however after a struggle, he spots a Santelmo and then starts to follow the Santelmo's fiery form which he hopes will lead to safety and a safe passage but he ends up at a dead end as a storm erupts then slips and ends up hanging of a cliff where he meets a Diwata who rescues him and tells him that the elusive bird that he is trying to capture to save his mother for the bird's tears are not the only tears that can help her. The Diwata then grants him some healing powers for his tenacity and devotion made from his own tears which represent his own hard work, efforts and pain due to his mother's suffering and his multiple efforts to help her. However, on the return journey the young boy has another risky opportunity to capture the Ibong Adarna, so he must decide whether or not to take the risk which will endanger his own life or trust in his own love for his mother and his own tears which the Diwata said can save and heal her.
