Wildlands: The Extraordinary Creatures Quest
The Story: On the edge of the Forever After Lands there is a wild, untamed and unmapped area called the Wildlands where hybrid magical creatures, mythological legendary creatures, legendary beings and robotic creatures (inclusive of some robotic dinosaurs) that do not wish to be found or that are banished from the human world or the Forever After Lands reside, hide and abide. This area which has lands and islands and an underground tunnel network is wild and chaotic with many time travellers, beasts and legendary beings and creatures passing through to visit but some fear visiting due to the dark tales that are told about those who do. When Serenti finds and then enters into a secret passage in her grandmother's home, she finds herself lost in the Wildlands with only a Wildlands Kindheart boy to guide her, who she must help to find some innocent extraordinary creatures that they have to save that have been taken captive by dark Wildhearts before the dark wildness of the Wildlands consumes them (a mist that seeps into their being with every dark act they do that belongs to a dark Wildheart) and corrupts their hearts after which they will either disappear and fade away or turn into Dark Wildhearts and it will be much harder if not impossible to save them and before the dark wildheart robot leader who is also capturing and installing dark parts and circuits into those captured, manages to transform them into Dark Wildhearts.
However, there is an additional complication because the Wildlands are powered by the human world both positively and negatively and a surge of cruelty, hatred and disbelief in the power of goodness from the human world is impacting upon the Wildlands and powering the dark wildhearts so that they are stronger, and as a result, the kinder, warmer Wildhearts that live there that could help the two to complete their quest are starting to weaken and disappear. So, they must find and tame two dragon robots and pegasus robots to help them travel across the Wildlands more quickly and safely because the flying abilities that Kindhearts possess have limits. Also Sereneti discovers that the Song of Hope that she learnt from her grandmother which she has almost forgotten can restore some of those who disappear, fade away or undo some of their dark deeds to stop them becoming fully fledged dark wildhearts, so along the way, she must try to find it inside her own mind or the two must visit the Realm of Memories to restore it which is also home to some creatures that are not very friendly. Furthermore, as they attempt to fulfil their quest, they discover some map fragments from a map maker that is once said to have lived in the Wildlands who met a grisly end which they try to piece together and then complete in order to find the locations of the Dark Wildhearts that have taken the innocent extraordinary creatures captive that they must find and save as Serenti unlocks some of her own gifts like being able to heal others through song with the song that was forgotten as well as the ability to create and change the weather and seasons (summer, winter, autumn, spring) and create storms around her and across vast spaces through control of the elements and nature through song.
