Summary Synopsis: When the discovery of a terminal medical condition presents a couple with a significant life obstacle which potentially threatens the couple with the loss of their world, relationship and future, a robotic lifeline appears on the horizon of their life which they are convinced to pursue. However, as they swiftly discover, as they embark upon this high-tech solution, the artificial organ has its own detrimental consequences which they may not be able to live, cope or love with and so as hope abandons their life and hearts, only the crutches of support from their love seem to remain but even the strands of their love are fading fast due to complexities in Torin's treatment. Sadly, as Torin discovers that the robotic lifeline is causing destruction to his actual person, he starts to question whether or not he should actually extinguish his own artificial, lifesaving heartbeat because the heart appears to be totally dysfunctional and is destroying the very future and life that he wanted to live.
Due to the couple's participation and the very tragic results, the lines of truth, reality, justice and moral values swiftly become murkily knotted around an ethical mystery which undermines the core foundations of not just truth but also their love for each other and the sacrifices that they have made. Suddenly, love is not just tested but also put on moral trial when the ethical codes of right and wrong become subject to individual interpretations that are saturated and immersed in a tragic, sad history of wrong that has an impact upon their present which when dug deeper into and put on the scales of moral ethical reasoning, would completely defy and stretch most societal ethical expectations beyond any form of reason or acceptability.
