Thistles/The Prickles of the Thistles
The Story
When two youngsters, (an outgoing, outrageous, fifteen year old, male, homosexual that dreams of being a famous entertainer and an intelligent, imaginative but quiet twelve year old female that aspires to be a writer, plays several instruments and has a soft spot for wildlife), both facing different tricky life circumstances, run away from a care home together and make it all the way from Glasgow to Spaghetti Junction in Birmingham as they head for London, a city that promises freedom of various kinds, Davy vows to help Zee find the biological parents she never knew, so that she can see them in person before they die from their drug infused, heroin lifestyles, so that she can try to understand their lives and perhaps even try to forgive them. However, thistles surround them and obstruct their path as they try to avoid capture and detection from authorities and reinstutionalization before their mission is complete as the older of the two youngsters tries to protect the younger by teaching her more about the many thistles in life as they become semi famous for all the wrong reasons and have to disguise themselves to avoid capture.
