The Story: M.O.R.A.L. Guard
In the not too distant future artificial life forms guard and protect civil society and implement the MORAL program which is a framework of moral and ethical instructions that define how civil society should operate, function and reside in harmony. When the rogue artificial life form MORAL that runs, maintains, guards and upgrades the MORAL program and its codes however, starts to rebel against the humanly approved program codes and then takes moral judgement into his own hands, he rewrites and overwrites the moral codes in the moral conduct program that human life forms have to live by and adhere to in order to ensure the harmonious survival of the human species. However, when human life forms fail to comply with the new ethical requirements, an army of programmable devices and technological robotic assistants are engaged by MORAL to enact death sentences but not all human life forms or even the artificial life forms in his ranks agree with the new more morally rigid rules.
